Conference Speakers:
Sharon Sanderson, MPH, OTR/L, FAOTA is a charter member and co-founder of OOTA. She was the first faculty member at OUHSC for the OT Program. She is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and the Past President of the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Association. She now serves as the secretary of the AOTA Association of State Association Presidents. Cyndy Robinson, MS, OTR/L is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Science for OUHSC and also serves in the role program director for the Program in Occupational Therapy. She received her MS in Health Administration in 1993 and her B.S. in Occupational Therapy in 1987. She is currently completing her doctorate in Health Promotion Sciences in the OUHSC College of Public Health. Her specialty interest is in aging and the program development necessary to support older adults to remain as independent as possible in as least restrictive environments as possible. Toby Hamilton, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Science for OUHSC. She received her B.S. in Occupational Therapy at OUHSC in 1980, her Masters in Health Promotion from OUHSC in 1990 and her PhD in Occupational Therapy from Texas Women’s University in 2001. She has taught at OUHSC since 1985, specializing in teaching, researching, and practicing community mental health. She works daily on staying balanced. Toby is also the President of the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Association. |
