OOTA supports Evidence Based Practice.  Evidence based practice is familiarity with controlled research studies on the effectiveness of particular treatments.

AOTA EBP Resource Directory.

 The American Occupational Therapy Association's Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Resource Directory links users to Internet sites related to the evidence-based practice of occupational therapy (AOTA membership is required to access this resource)

AOTA's Evidence Briefs series. This series provides easy-to-read summaries of articles selected from scientific literature. (AOTA membership is required to access this resource).
