Wow!!  Our basket auctions at the OOTA annual conference went great again this year!  Silent auction items brought $381 and live auction items brought $580.  Thank you so much to the companies and individuals or OT teams who contributed to making and donating baskets.  Thanks also to the OTs and others who purchased baskets!  There were some very creative baskets this year including the "Made in Oklahoma" basket from the OKC/VA OT dept. and the very creative art basket/fire pit from Adaptabilities.  We should have an award for the best basket next year!

Start thinking of fun, different ideas for baskets for next year and stay updated with your reminders each quarter and on the website

It's time to start thinking of fun, irresistible baskets for our live and silent auctions for the OOTA annual conference. This is a great time of year to find holiday items on discount sales, or to start asking employers and businesses to make donations. The more the merrier OOTA will be! Smaller items or homemade items can be used in the silent auction too. If you are willing to help find donations, please contact me. Thank you!

Finance Chair Report:
Wow!  What a great auction we had at the annual conference thanks to all of you who made donations personally or with your company!  We raised over $1,600 through the live and silent auctions and the funds will go to a brand new area for OOTA called "The Centennial Fund."  This fund will be set aside for OOTA to use for creating brochures, flyers etc. to let the state and world know all about our great profession.
Thanks to Kim Ryan, Debra Smart and Rachel Godsey for helping with the auction and thanks again for everyone who was involved in donations.  You are awesome.  Let's do it bigger next year!
