There is now information on the American Occupational Therapy Foundation website about scholarships provided to both associate level and mater level occupational therapy students.  There is a scholarship sponsored by OOTA as well as many others.  The scholarship information can be found at http://www.aotf.org/html/general_information.html.  Applicants must be a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA); must demonstrate a need for financial assistance; must have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement; and must be currently enrolled full time at the upper level in an accredited or developing occupational therapy educational program. Occupational therapy assistant applicants must be full-time students currently enrolled in the final year of an accredited or developing occupational therapy assistant educational program.  If you plan to apply for the OOTA scholarship you must also be a member of OOTA.  Applicants will need to supply application data including two personal references, a curriculum director's statement, and official transcripts.  All application must be postmarked by January 15, 2005.
